Joe Malone: Master Electrician
In 2024 Cape Cod Heat Pumps welcomed Joe Malone to fill the role of Master Electrician. Joe has 25 years of experience, having started in the Electrical trade at age 18, and earning his license at age 23.
We’re happy to have an electrician who’s worked in such a wide variety of settings and disciplines. From retrofits to new construction, residential, commercial and industrial, Joe has done it all. On the residential side he has worked in the most modest of cottages as well as in very opulent Newport mansions. He’s repaired neon signs in Boston, and was a staff electrician at Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place.
Joe oversees all of our HVAC electrical work, and is also available for most any non-HVAC work our customers are looking for. From new light fixtures and outlets, panel upgrades and ceiling fan installation to landscape lighting and home EV charger installation, Joe is happy to tackle the job. With his friendly smile and quick wit, you’ll enjoy having him in your home.
Outside of work Joe loves spending time with his wife and two children. Between gymnastics and hockey tournaments the kids keep him on the go, and they still find lots of time for fishing, one of Joe’s passions.
Brandon Condo-Jerome: Electrical Apprentice
Originally from a small town in Quebec, Brandon just about traveled around the world before landing here at Cape Cod Heat Pumps.
Right out of high school he started working in the Canadian oil fields, taking seismic readings to help locate underground pools of oil. In 2018 he joined the US Navy, where he worked in Electrical Engineering during his 6 years of service. He saw two deployments – one to the Persian Gulf, and another to the South China Sea. From Somalia to the South Pacific, Brandon has seen more of the world than most people see in a lifetime.
Brandon is apprenticing with our Master Electrician, Joe Malone, as he works toward his MA Electrician’s license. While he gets his 8,000 hours under his belt, he’s studying at Upper Cape Tech to complete his classroom hours. We’ve been impressed with Brandon’s commitment as he juggles his work schedule with his classroom studies. With a wife and a 6-month old boy at home, Brandon has a full plate, but he seems to have boundless energy and is always up to the task. He finds his way to the golf course when he’s not enjoying family time.
